Jagriti, the resident welfare associaton of N block, Malviya Nagar. This society is more than 30 years old. It was founded in the late 70's. Primarily, this block was allocated to the refugees from Great Partition of 1947. The original inhabitants traded the houses and flats and moved on to other parts of city/country.

So, Jagriti, in its present form is about 30 years or so. This RWA was founded to take care of the social and security needs of the residents of the N Block. As of now, there are about 45 houses in the block. This association of the people works actively to cater to the day to day needs of guard, sanitation, roads, parking allocation, park maintenance among many other.

The residents are free to seek any kind of assistance for their concerns.

Besides the above mentioned, the society also organises events for children, for the elderly, and also arranges social gathering to celebrate festivities like Deepawali, janmashtmi, lohri together.

In essence, the society takes care that the peace and harmony in the block is maintained, and the residents also come together as one family to enjoy and celebrate life.
